HOW TO LIVE ON 24 HOURS A DAY
This book has written by Arnold Bennett (1910)
The author makes it clear that this is not a self-help book.
Bennett offers only one teaches how to live with little money, should be taught to learn to live with the time one has. To live our life to the fullest.
The author focuses his book in the context of 1910, with the revolution Industrial, buts its advice can be applied today.
He recognizes the difficulty of the task of managing the 24 hours a day and is not an easy mission. According to Bennett, it is a mission that will probably not be achieved, requiring discipline, effort and sacrifice.
His tips are:
You can start again: for the author, the best time is that as it is a treasure, never end. Every day, 24 hours new you have to decide to make better use of them. Every day is an opportunity to make the change.
Take advantage of the hour in the Middle: make the mistake of thinking that the hours in the day are only dealing in the work/study and sleep. The period between the two is as dead time. The author recommends to use this time to nurture the mind, exercise, meditate or do something different.
Get up very early for doing yoga or going to bed a few hours later to organize the next day could make much of a difference (as it had said that it was a sacrifice). Start taking hour and a half each day to make something yours.
Known far you get: not abarques more than what you can. Every day is numbered minutes, cannot be taken provided neither past nor future. Even if you insist on that you can do it, the third job will give you more money, but no more peace of mind.
The book says that there will never be a perfect planning to distribute the time, so just use the time for that is now.
