Main Ideas and Personal Experiences
Economic
discrimination, this is for
superficial people, who are interested, respects or includes others in their social
circle, according to their economic status, basically values people depending
on their material goods.
For example: If someone enters a prestigious
restaurant dressed in simple clothes, receives all kinds of looks and negative
reviews for the way you saw.
This is discrimination because of the economic
condition, also caused by prejudices.
Economic discrimination is present in schools,
universities, public and private institutions, etc. And this is not unknown to
anyone.
Ambition, because of the socio-economic situation, most people
today have become ambitious, with the desire to want to obtain an acceptable
economic level in one way or another, that is to say, to feel satisfied that
thanks to what we have obtained, we project a Imposing or at least strong image
before others.
For example, as in the case of the novel, it is
influenced many times by the desire to appear to be someone different and thus
to be recognized.
Determination,
constant motivation,
effort and perseverance, overcoming difficult obstacles, without abandoning or
changing a decision made, to meet objectives, mainly academic, for the purpose
of obtaining emotional satisfaction and economic benefit
An example of personal determination may be as in my
case, learn to speak English.
